Only last month the China Speakers Bureau started to make a cluster of its experts on the US-China trade war, although many did not realize that war had already been started. It did trigger off some requests from our clients.
Now, after so many flip-flops and tweets by US president Donald Trump, and the events surrounding China’s second largest telecom manufacturer ZTE, some might hope a truce is in the making between the largest and second largest economy of the world. We have to disappoint those hopefuls: the trade tensions between China and the US are here to stay for the long term.
It might be tough to make senses out of the developments on a day-to-day basis, but the long term predictions do no look good.
